Today I rented a motorbike (for 70,000 dong) and cruised out to the fields near Da Lat. Up here at about a mile above sea level, cool climate crops grow in abundance. Known to locals as the "City of Flowers," indoor green houses with flowers growing are everywhere on the hillsides.

Besides the flowers there are also onions, carrots, vegetables, fruits, corn and coffee. Today some women were in the fields harvesting and sorting onions.

The highest point on the hills are reserved for images of Buddha and churches.

Today is the first day since I left the states that I haven't taken multiple showers and sweat through various shirts. The temperature is moderate and the food in the markets is excellent. Likely to stay here a while. Also created a site map after following a few tutorials from youtube and instructions from Google Webmaster tools.
