Welcome to November on the TIP! Today I got up bright and early and hiked to the top of a ridge west of Oyaoy near Quirino. To the west I could see into the South China Sea and to the east into the Cordillera. After exploring around for a good view to the west, right near the top of the ridge, I found an old Mango tree. It seemed to be planted in the perfect location to provide shade for the farmers working the surrounding rice terraces. The lower branches of the tree provided easy access to the crown, and from the crown, I caught the view I was looking for of the ocean to the west.
