For my last night in the Urban Jungle of the aerotropolis, a few of us headed into Seoul for an after school special: the Lotus Lantern Festival. To celebrate the birthday of Lord Buddha, locals make a long parade of paper and silk lanterns, symbolizing wishes for health, long life and abundance. I'll let the images speak for themselves. Bright and early tomorrow I'm headed south to Jirisan National Park with a group of students from Chadwick International until Friday. Sunday back to New York City.
