I was able to glean some crucial information on Bulusan National park from the Lonely Planet and also Mervins's bloghttp://www.pinoyadventurista.com. Took a jeep from the city center and got off in Irosin. Then hired a one way tricycle up to the national park. Ate a picnic lunch and headed out on the 2km trail around the lake. Definitely the most preserved and impressive tropical forest I've seen in the Philippines. There was an occasional gap in the clouds to see the impressive summit of the somewhat active Bulusan volcano. Enjoy the images below. Special thanks to Mervin!
