After reading about the offshore islands on Edgar Alan Zeta-Yap's website http://www.EasyTraveler.com I wanted to see for myself what was going on out there. From the south eastern tip of Maripipi you can get on a frequent back-and-forth small from the Baptist Minister's house in Barangay Ol-og out to the main island of Sambawan. The ride out there was through choppy waves in a smaller-than-canoe-size-boat, and I got pretty wet from the splashing waves. Luckily I had put my camera in a dry bag. When we arrived at the main island, I explored around a bit during the sunset and made the following photographs. During the ride back, we passed through an incredible sunset, and as soon as we hit mainland Maripipi, I made some images looking back at Sambawan during the sunset. Enjoy the following images!
