Photography collaboration with Josh Garrison

I've heard the legend for a few years about the mid-winter Fiesta in Mecklenburg, New York hosted by local blacksmith Durand. I hadn't seen my buddy Josh in about six months and today is my brother's birthday! To celebrate Joe's birthday, we all headed out to Mecklenburg and our expectations were far exceeded. Shortly after arriving we found a dude with a giant griddle serving pancakes and bacon. Another griddle serving grilled cheese and burgers. In another corner a pot-luck style dish-to-pass table featured pesto pasta and other delicious foods. The center piece, however, was a home-made ferris wheel which featured a variety of different pies. Then there was live music, giant bon fires and a kissing booth. See the below photos to get an idea of what the scene was like. Thanks to Durand and Happy Birthday Joe! Photographs by your truly and and Josh Garrison.
